A mod that adds lots of humans to your Ark world. Created by the amazing and extremely talented ZoneKi11er, this mod is designed for use on PC, Xbox, and PS5 on both dedicated and single-player servers. It is a whole lot of fun and changes the way you play Ark. The NPC’s may turn up at any point to raid your base. You need to set turrets to all targets as they are classed as wild the same as wild dinos.
There is a free engram that allows you to craft a cheap wooden “no raid” sign which means no NPC’s will raid within 100 meters of the sign.
The NPCs are fully tamable but not yet breedable and I would suspect they never will be. The moral aspect of killing off children, enemy raiders teabagging urchins, and a lot of other potential things means that seeing breeding in this mod is unlikely but we can hope.
The NPC villages which they build, sometimes in some pretty hostile locations can often be protected by Plant X and contain some pretty decent loot. Killing the NPCs is also an easy way to get early kits. In combat, they seem to prefer to bola, club, or tranq you and can leave you in a somewhat sticky situation if you are knocked out in say, the swamp for instance.
Tamed NPCs can guard your land and as they patrol it or while set in turret mode they can collect resources that are in the area as well as look after your crops. They will however respect you as lord of the manor and cease any further building once part of your group which is good as most people like to control how their bases look.
They will look after your Forge, Campfires, Cook Meat, Put the correct stuff into Preserving Bins and Crop Plots, and even catch meat and fish.
This mod is one of the best available and is currently active on Rex Register. I’ve also tamed a lovely woman raider who required a few clubs across the head and some kibble to become my faithful companion. I didn’t even have to buy her a meal and in no way had to be a good listener. I’m planning an in-game wedding! The ceremony will be beautiful and I will post pictures of the honeymoon (Likely Carno Island but if she is good, who knows, maybe the Volcano)
